Summary of the Project
The youth of our Project will come together in order to enliven again the Open Air Cinema which was a part of our culture in the past, to be infirmed about cinema, to attain skills about shooting a narrow film and to make conversations on cinema. For this aim, a youth group consisting of 10 people from abroad will participate our youth group of 10 people here and a eight- day activity will be arranged within our project which will last totally 4 months. In the eight-day activity programme, a film will be watched in open air every night, trips will be arranged, conversations will be made with adults having open air cinema culture, their memory about it will be gathered together, information about narrow film will be obtained and short film will be shot. All these activities will strengthen mutual understanding, develop solidarity and encourage tolerance among the youth from different countries, Besides, obtaining experience about cinema will bring job opportunities for the youth and perhaps many youths will get of being unemployed. All the activities fulfilled at the end of the project will be published in a journal in English and Turkish languages.
