Our course will take place in Istanbul – Turkey , during 10-16 June 2010 with the participation of 10 countries. In this training course, we are going to try to explain the European environmental policy, objectives and the principles of the European Union. What have been done in terms of environmental integration is another subject that will be included within the course. And the role of the civil society and non-governmental organizations in international environmental policy will be on our agenda. We are going to use formal and non-formal education tools with an intercultural dimension.
We are going to stay at the center of Istanbul in a good hotel. We will also have time to see the city and meet with local people.
Important: The participants must be the members of any non-governmental organization (NGOs), youth organization, etc. from EU member counties.
PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS :
-Participants are actively working with young people as a professional or voluntary youth worker
- Participants have experience in organising youth projects
- Participants should have an active attitude!
- Participants should have ideas for future project!
- Participants should have options to set new projects!
- No Age Limit
DATES AND VENUE OF THE MEETING: 10-16 June 2010, Istanbul
7 days (excluding travel dates)
COSTS: 70% of travel cost and 100% of the accommodation and visa cost will be covered, according to youth program regulations
Participation fee: 50 Euro
