This is a call for partnership for a project called "being citizens, being volunteers" implemented in the framework of Youth in Action programme Action 4.3.
CSV of Naples, Italy is implementing the project.
Project Summary
Being citizens, being volunteers is a trans-national project willing to insert some disadvantaged Italian realities in the net of European active youth, supported by Youth in Action Programme. The area we will act in is the Campania region, south Italy. The local area mainly interested by this project will be Naples and surroundings. Main activities will be connected with formation-information-experimentation of non formal education and discussions about volunteering impact on the community. The seminar should happen
during the month of July 2010.
Objectives and priorities.
General objective of this project is to promote volunteering as an instrument of social development. The activities will be focused on volunteering experiences sharing; from this we will introduce a reflection about impact of volunteering on the local community and in general on the civil society.
Description of the activities:
Central activity of the project will be the seminar.
The themes of the seminar will be:
- volunteering in Europe;
- volunteering in a multicultural environment;
- volunteers recruiting;
-leadership and coaching, how to develop and to acquire experience
