We have an already approved Action 1.1 Project which will be held in Karaman (the capital city of Turkish Language) from 25th of February to 5th of March 2010. 4 Participants +1 Group leader. Participants must be over 18 and under 27. Group leader can be over 27 but they cannot be over 35.
During the project there will be activities such as;
-Workshops related to language problems and its negative effects on youth
-Street performances
-One day, We will paint a wall in city centre.
-Visiting an orphanage and a rehabilitation centre and have a dinner with the kids.
-Konya City Tour and visit Rumi's Tomb and also watch the dance of Whirling Dervishes.
-sightseeing (museums, churches, mosques and castles)
-free times to explore the city with guides and shopping
-Intercultural Nights
-City games
-visiting some NGO's and Municipality of Karaman and Governorship of Karaman
-meeting local young people from disadvantaged background and a lot of surprises
%70 of travel expenses,%100 of accommodation, food, visa costs will be covered by Turkish National Agency.
