We are Free Minds Youth Group from Ankara (capital city) in Turkey and looking for volunteers. Our association prepares 4.3 youth programme project about disability people and that is why if you are interested in youth disability projects maybe this one attracts your interest.
Our projects aim:
-To understand under what kind of conditions they are.
-To get basic information about different kind of disabled people.
-To observe what kind of education techniques methods and activities are applied a long with the tools that are used.
-To interact with disabled people by listening to their problems, suggestions and stories.
-To diagnose and analyze the problems and discuss what we can do to find a solution to this problems.
Activities:
-Cultural Meeting Nights
-Sightseeing of the city from Old Castle of Ankara
-Visit to Anatolian Civizalition Museum and Atatürk's Mouseloum.
-Tasting traditional Turkish.
Methods:
During the period of project we will use both formal (such as presentations, seminars) and informal methods (such as parties, tours )
Financial conditions:
Accommodation, food and visa are totally provided to all participants by the project budget.
And also %70 of travel expenses will be provided.
