Host Group: Sakarya Youth and Sports Club (Sakarya Youth Center, related to Republic of Turkey, General Directorate of Youth and Sports)
Dates: Fourteen nights and fifteen days between 19th July-1st 2010 (19.07.2010-01.08.2010)
Place: SAKARYA, near Istanbul
Age of the participants: 18-25; number: 5 participants + 1 leader
Reimbursement: 70% Travel expenses, 100% activity costs, foods, accomodation and visas.
Our basic aim is to build a social awarness about drug addiction, to enable the youth to be awared of the the jeopardies of drug addictions in the areas where people make music and to do activities that encourage the youngsters to form their music in the positive places.In the mean time there will be activities that improve the intercultural dialogs and the youngsters will discover our city.
In our project also there will be some unprofessional activities such as artistic workshops (drawing, designing brochures, theatre, concerts), various folk dances and traditional Turkish handicrafts, sport activities. And also historical-cultural city tours will be carried out.
