Trampoline Media Youth Group is one of the working groups of the Trampoline Organization which aims at disseminating media and press in the youth work. Whilst some of the members are ex-EVS volunteers, there are some others who are keenly interested in developing and improving youth led participation through walk the walk and talk the talk.Currently we are 8 young active members. But since we are developing to start our school programme project for civic education, we are now recruiting new members and volunteers. Our vision is to be the leading organizatin in Turkey. In this respect, we carry out activities with the aim of protecting and improving the social, cultural values and human rights via media such as TV and Radio. Our target groups are the young people between the age of 12 and 35. The reason that Trampoline Youth Group organizes an exchange on youth workers’ networking is to address the youth empowerment with the young people. Since the children and the young people are the most disadvantaged and vulnerable in the societies and communities we aim at creating networking in developing new tools and new dimensions while working with these groups. Therefore, with this project, the participants (the youth workers and the leaders) are expected to share their experiences of their locals about the approaches in children and youth works. This mutual sharing is another key in an intercultural work in order to work within a global perspective by bringing local and national to the ground. Through this project, the participants will draw caricatures and cartoons for developing a manuel for the young people. The contents will be around how to include the young people. This manuel will be composed not just of the experiences of the participants but also of their expectations as young people. This will be able to be used as a guide in the forthcoming collaborations. And also we expect to develop networkings for other Youth in Action Programmes after this Exchange.
