Project summary:
Islamophobia is a serious phenomenon that currently affects many young people in Europe and other countries. The event will gather together 30 young people from all over Europe,and neighbouring countries from both Muslim and Christian, Jewish background, to gain knowledge and skills about how to overcome Islamophobia. The main aim of the study session is to provide young multipliers with information and practical skills about how to promote inter-religious dialogue and co-operation for overcoming Islamophobia in their national and local contexts.The study session is addressed the issue from various angles. The other aim of the course is to promote the understanding of other identities, to extend and develop strategies and methods on the development of a multicultural society and to build up competences and qualifications for a transnational cooperation between the Participants. Based on the Participants' reflections on regional and national identity, modules and methods will be prepared in order to promote the European identity by learners.

Participants:
2 – youngsters (1 boy+ 1 girl) - from each country - (between 18-28 years old)
Butged:
The cost of this course is funded by Turkish National Agency, full board accommodation, %70 of travel and subsistence and also organised excursions.
