Have you lived/worked/volunteered abroad not too long time ago? Are you ready to look at your experiences in a different light? Are you interested to work on methods to improve your learning experience and also those of other people going abroad? Could you enjoy group work? Are you ready to open your mind? In April 2010 Service Civil International (SCI) will organise a training focused on intercultural learning. The seminar is funded by the European Youth Foundation. During 6 days, a group of 20 international participants will focus on their experiences of ICL while living abroad. We will explore competencies and lesson learned during the time abroad. The next step will be to look at similarities between the experiences of the volunteers. We will also look into ways and means to tackle challenges in order to improve the experiences with intercultural learning in the future.

The training 'Open Your Mind to the Diverse World' is aimed to collect model approaches regarding living abroad and look for the possibilities to apply them on the local level while organizing short term projects.
