International Youth meeting: 10-20 August 2010
We are looking for partners for a 1.1 project within youth in action.
The teens should be age 14-16 years who want to join our
musical project.
Concept:
We will use the famous musical West Side Story as a base to reveal
their own perspective. How can the two gangs find peace? Where can the love of Maria and Tony find a place to live? Does anybody need to die?
The meeting of different cultures, making friends and finding similar perspectives by working an this archetypical theatre peace is our project.
Dancing, acting an singing will be trained and in the end we will present a show. We will live an rehearse in a house in the lovely country side one our from Berlin.
Important to un us: age 14-16 hopefully with musical skills, 1 or 2 adults, who can join the theatre training team.
