We are EUROMEDIST (Euro-Mediterranean Youth Association) from Istanbul,Turkey. We are planning to apply our project on 1st of June. The project entitled "European Effect in Short" is a multilateral youth exchange implemented under Action 1.1 of Youth in Action Programme. In this project we aim to emphasize European citizenship and European effects on societies. In this case, we will point some main topics such as human rights, discriminations, poverties, global challenges, democracy, European entrepreneurship, millennium development goals and diversity in unity via short movies. The main activity of the project will be making creative short movies about such topics. Additionally, the project aims to make youngsters build their own European citizenship and to show how they imagine Europe in the future as they are the future of Europe. In the activity period, the participants will be separated into 5 groups to work efficiently. Each group will have a main topic which has several subtopics to work on. The project will take place between 1st-10th of October and the APV between 10th-12th of September 2010.
Both will be in Düzce, Turkey.
