We are a Romanian non-governmental youth organization.We prepare a project proposal on "Youth in action" program ( Action 3.1. ), called "The Danube- a friendship bridge in Europe". We want to organize a multilateral youth exchange and we want to submit this proposal on June 1st dead-line. We are gladly to invite you to participate in this interesting project and be our partners! The project will consist in organizing attractive and enjoyable intercultural activities (such as: intercultural discoveries, evenings, theatre, carnival, "living library" and "photo voice") and interactive workshops and debates. During the project, the youngsters will have the opportunity to discover the cultural richness and diversity of the Danube Region and to maintain an active dialogue with other young people from different cultural backgrounds. Also, they will learn more about the countries crossed by the Danube and about their cultural traditions and customs.With this project we intend to promote the intercultural dialogue and the mutual understanding among young people residing in a country transited by the Danube. We want, also, to promote the different cultural traditions and customs of the communities of this region. Also, we propose to develop among young people residing in a country transited by the Danube a feeling of tolerance and acceptance of cultural differences existing. We want to overcome the existing cultural barriers among the youth of this region and to combat the prejudices against different ethnic groups. Also,we want to promote the fundamental European values among these young people. The main theme of our project is the contribution of the cultural diversity of this region to build a common European identity. The activities will be organized in several cities from the Danube Region. These will be Sibiu ( Romania- European Capital of Culture 2007 ), Budapest ( Hungary ), Bratislava ( Slovakia ) and Vienna ( Austria ). They will take place from November 8 to November 24 2010. We are looking for partners from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia and Republic of Moldova. Don't hesitate to contact us! The dead-line is 28 May 2010. You can send the Part III signed and stamped at the addresses mentioned above. In this moment isn't necessary to send the Part III by post, only by e-mail (signed and stamped ).
