Title: "Contact 2010".
Theme: Youth Information, Youth Policy, Organization Cooperation.
Place: Milas-Turkiye (a town close to Bodrum)
Dates: 24-28 2010 (Arrival date is 24 November in the morning and departures date is 28 November at the afternoon)
Financial Condition:
- 70% of international travel costs are covered by the Youth Program funds; this ammount will be reimbursed during the seminar, presenting original bill and original travel tickets and boarding passes.There’s 20 euro participation fee. Boarding, lodgement, local transport during the seminar and material resulting of the seminar are covered by the Youth Program funds.
Brief description of the project:
The project is aiming to create the frame and to empower youth workers to develop Youth in Action Programme projects with an intercultural dimension taking places in multicultural context and based on the values of better understanding the diversity taking the Youth Information & Organization Cooperation as axis of their projects, since Youth Information is an Important tool of communication between different Youth organization. Encouraging them to learn about the framework of the Youth in Action program by increasing the importance of youth organizations, developing young people's active citizenship, especially that of young women, and promoting the exchange of information, experience and expertise between youth organizations. Giving young people the chance to meet others from different cultures and give the chance to mutual conversations. Giving the chance to positive corporations between young people and let them exchange experience and opinion about Youth Information and gaining new experiences throughout the intercultural exchange. Supporting and increasing the leadership skills of the participants, and give them the chance for non-formal learning form each other. Give the chance to create a new friendship between young people. To improve mutual understanding and cohesion between young people across the Mediterranean region, based on and committed to mutual respect, tolerance and dialogue between the various traditions.
