Training Course about using creative methods, art and music for inclusion of social excluded youth from urban industrial zones.
Who we are:
The host organization is Association of artists – experts of drama, fine arts, applied arts, music and theory, management of culture and art “Fabrik Art”. It is non profit organization based in Belgrade, Serbia. Through art “Fabrik Art” works on positive promotion and education of values and creative thinking audience, which is mainly youth. We are promoting intercultural dialogue through art and culture.
About the Project
Training Course about using creative methods, art and music for inclusion of social excluded youth from urban industrial zones. The main goal of our training course “Eco-Musicology“ is to offer to participants new art techniques and learning methods for improving inclusion of excluded groups of youth with geographical obstacles – youth from urban industrial zones. During our TC paricipants will be in the process of creation of new – music and art made by art-recycling of garbage from nature. They will present this product through music concert, performance, exhibition of paintings, drawings, masks, art and other cultural elements. The product of TC will promote inclusion of youth from urban industrial zones. Also focus will be on ecology awareness and healthy life style. Activities on our training course: making instruments, playing instruments and using voice, individual and group improvisation, drawings, making masks, photography, video, making objects, spending time in nature and contact with nature, ecology, art-recycling. Target group on our training course are people actively involved in work with social excluded youth from urban industrial zones (youth workers, youth leaders, play workers, NGO activists, school teachers, social workers).We would like to get participants already with knowledge about music and art.
Objectives:
- to promote inclusion as a most significant value working with youth with fewer opportunities - excluded youth from urban industrial zones
- to encourage excluded young people with fewer opportunities – youth from urban industrial zones to play an active role in their communities
- to stimulate participants to have reflection on the essential characteristics of European society and foster mutual understanding between young people in different countries
- to contribute participants development of creative capabilities and skills in youth work using learning and creative methods (art and music techniques)
Working language: English – all participants must be able to actively communicate using English language
Partners: All interested Program countries and Neighboring Partner countries.
Funding:
100% for accommodation will be covered and 70% of travel cost (Apex tickets) will be reimbursed after receiving original receipts.
