Summary:
The seven-day training course is addressed to adult learners working in the field of education and deals with analyzing forms of aggression in educational process, and good practices for resolving conflicts.

Details:
Objectives: The seven-day training course is addressed to adult learners working in the field of education and deals with
analyzing forms of aggression in educational process, and good practices for resolving conflicts.
It is expected to provide the participants with the essential knowledge and know-how on conflict management. During the training the participants should build their personal skills, so that they should be able to transfer these skills in their life and act as multipliers in their own settings.
The project is expected to:
-Increase knowledge on the topic of conflict;
- Build on personal skills and modify attitudes and values;
- Respect the human rights and the otherness;
- Suggest and adopt techniques to manage conflict;
- Offer a better comprehension of non-formal education for adult learners;
- Exchange experience and know – how;
- Co–formulate innovative strategies and utilize them in the local communities;
- Encourage the collaboration of different countries through the intercultural communication and the exchange of opinions among a notably active part of the population, the adults, who promote the European values and the creativity of cultural interaction.
Methodology: The workshop will be based on non- formal education. During the training itself, participants should have
very dynamic role, as all the methods that we plan to use are based on non-formal principles; these are encouraging exchange of experiences and active involvement, sharing of thoughts and feelings, learning by doing. Different social realities, personal preferences and experiences, cultural differences and educational systems should influence our approaches to learning and training. The training will consist of experiential, co-operative, active learning methods with innovative materials, such as group discussions, teamwork, role-playing, brainstorming, movement games, group and personal reflection, observation of individual and group dynamic process, ,creative arts, humor, peer support, relaxation, outdoor activities. Power-point presentations of the theoretical background and power-point presentations of participants’ (conflicts in different settings) will be integrated in the training course. The daily feedback procedures will be contributing to the evaluation of the project. Furthermore field trips to relevant organizations will be implemented, in order to exchange experience with the experts.
