Prejudice Breakers - Önyargi Kiricilar European Youth Group. We are looking for Interested Partners in 1.1 YIA Project called: ‘’ Reality Versus Prejudice - Önyargiya Karsi Gerçeklik’’.

Participants Nr: 4 participants (aged 18-25) from each organization + 1 Group Leader .)
Place: Diyarbakir/Turkey
Project summary:
Built on a strong cooperation among youth instituitions ,this project is initiated by young leaders with thirty participants from Germany,Poland,Greece,Hungary,Romania and Turkey.
The project will take place in Diyarbakir; a very historical ,cosmopolite Mesopotamian city settled around the banks of the River Tigris. Regarding the increasing trends of xenophobia and religious conflicts in the continent and around , the project aims to develop tolerance to differences and smash or at least reduce prejudice among nations.The partners to the project have been chosen among the countries where ‘mutual prejudice and misunderstanding’ prevail. It is expected that the project will contribute on enhancing mutual dialog and tolerance among youth groups while providing them to learn more about other cultures. The goals of the project will be reached through amusing and interesting activities such as pandomimes,photo gallery,outdoor trips ,street meetings,visits to churches and mosques.Some parts of the programme will be realized as outdoor activities in order to get the attention of the local people as well. The participants will be encouraged to involve in the activities in order to gain confidence,responsibility and build trust in the society they live. The hosting city,Diyarbakir where people from different etnicities live together peacefully throughout the history provides a very elligible location for the theme of the project.
