Summary:
Volunteering Ireland and SEEYN organize a training course with aim is to build participants competences to apply high standards of volunteer management to local, national and/or European level volunteer services.

Details:
The training course will take place in Krusevac, Serbia and last for 7 full working days. It will gather 40 participants from 37 partner organisations (16 Programme countries and 21 from SEE). All together it will be a mix from 16 European countries. It is an honour that this training course has attracted not only such a big number of participants from very influential and experienced organisations in the field of volunteering, but also many respectable
experts. We got support from SALTO SEE RC, Voluntary Service Overseas, CSVnet (Italy), Mr. Karl Monsen-Elvik (Scotland) and SEEYN experts. The training course is supported by Leargas, the National Agency in Ireland within the European Commission Youth in Action programme, Action 3.1. We have some places left open so we can invite new partners from EU or SEE countries to apply for this training course.
Costs:
Board and lodging Participants will be accommodated in a hotel in the centre of Krusevac. The training sessions will take place in the same hotel. Participants will be accommodated in rooms with 2 or 3 beds. Organisers will provide 3 meals and 2 coffee breaks per day. Arrival day is 18.09.2010 and departure day is 26.09.2010 Additional nights, meals and other hotel services have to be covered by participants themselves. Selected participants will get additional information on how to get to the venue of the training course. Travel costs 70% of the travel costs will be reimbursed ONLY for the cheapest way of transport. Travel costs will be reimbursed by bank transfer, after submission of original travel documents. Participants should keep all travel documents (tickets, travel agency invoices, boarding passes) as organisers are able to make any reimbursement only on the bases of presented documents! Visa costs 100% of visa costs will be reimbursed by bank transfer.
