Location: Sanliurfa-Turkey (Southeastern of Turkey /Sanliurfa).
Date: June 12- 17 June 2011.
We are looking for partners for "Biological Diversity Of Sanliurfa " project within the frame of Action 1.2.- Transnational nation (European Union Edication and Youth Programmes). We need 3+1 leader(total 4 participants).
Summary of the Project:
Our project for the creation of local environmental awareness are intended to spread the bird watching. All Europe only in Sanliurfa, some birds, butterflies, reptiles, mammals, and plants live double lives. For example: Striped hyena (Hyaena hyaena), Cream-coloured Courser (Cursorius cursor), Bald Ýbis (Geronticus eremita), Pin-tailled Sandgrouse Pterocles alchata), Desert Monitor (Varanus griseus), Striated Scops Owl (Otus Brucei), Desert Lark (Ammomanes deserti), Yellow-throated Sparrow (Petronia xanthocollis) The first settlement on the ancient city is göbeklitepe. Paganism (idolatry) is the place where born sogmatar belief ancient city, monasteries, churches and directing more that there are many other historical attractions in Sanliurfa. According to the terms of the Programme, the participation is free of charge. Additionally, the accommodation and catering is fully covered, and travel cost are reimbursed up to 70% of the actual costs.
