Group size: 20 – 24 participants.

Aim:
Aim is to motivate, bring in contact Mentors from Programme Countries and “find out” the profile of the ideal Mentor
Objectives:
• To learn how to cope with crisis situations and exploring tools for crisis management and crisis resolution in an intercultural environment;
• Intercultural learning, dealing with ambiguity and change;
• Volunteering;
• Identification of the roles, rights and responsibilities of all actors in the EVS project;
• Sharing experience, good practices, as well as methods and tools related to different aspects of mentoring;
• To build a common ground regarding the needs and responsibilities of the ideal mentor within the European Voluntary service;
• To provide space for developing new projects ideas and setting up new partnerships;
• To explore the benefits of intercultural learning and presenting ideas to deal with ambiguity and change;
• To discuss the importance of recognition of competencies, obtained through non-formal education methods and the mentor's role in the process.
Eligible participants are:
A part of EVS accredited organisations
Have been involved in at least one EVS project as a mentor.
Costs:
Boarding and loadging will be covered by the Hellenic National Agency. Travel cost for Programme Countries will be covered by the Sending National Agency.
Working language: English.
