Summary:
Target group: Youth workers, Youth leaders, Project managers.
For participants from: Youth in Action Programme Countries.
Group size: 25 participants.
Details:
Offer a wide range of concrete and applicable activities, methods and tools to facilitate an inclusive youth project (group composition, setting the scene, welcome, breaking language barriers).
2 step approach:
1st a Training course:
• How to design a tailor-made and inclusive project;
• Collect and develop inclusive tools and methods;
• How to use specific tools and methods;
• Collect materials for the “handbook”.
2nd the result: a “handbook”, guide:
• Ready to use for inclusive projects;
• Concrete methods and tools for YIA inclusion projects;
• Practical for real, illustrated and adequate.
Participants must have experience in inclusion projects, must be willed to work on a publication and being able to share at least one inclusion method for the booklet.
Team:
The team of Youth in Action/ Inclusion are very experienced in the international youth- and social work. They are practitioners. They could bring the “A handbook for inclusion” into concrete action.
Duration: 6 full working days, excluding travels.
Costs:
Hosting cost will be covered by Portuguese National Agency. The travel costs are covered by the sending National Agency. Please contact your National Agency to find out how it is done in your country and whether there is a participation fee.
