Summary:
An East-West training course on PR and Promotion, in order to strengthen the recognition, impact and visibility of international value-based youth work.
Target group: Youth workers, Youth leaders, Project managers
For participants from:
Armenia, Belarus, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Latvia, Moldova, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine.
Group size: 26 participants.

MAIN ELEMENTS AND CONCERNS OF THE TRAINING COURSE
1) exploring and discussing the concepts of values in our work (eg inclusion, participation, volunteerism, diversity, …) and to compare the local realities
2) building up competences (skills, knowledge and attitudes) of the participants in the areas of:
- social marketing
- image building
- debating and persuading
- advertisement and promotion
- media strategy
- working with journalists
- web 2.0 and video-blogging
- campaigning and public actions
3) to apply these competences and tools directly to the specific cases of the represented organisations, and to develop respective long-term strategies and working plans
4) assessment of best practices and common pitfalls
5) to explore how to strengthen impact, visibility, multiplying effects, and exploitation & dissemination of results in Youth in Action projects
6) to ensure and support action planning for future projects and co-operations with a focus on the promotion and recognition of our value-based youth work and East-West co-operation
