Group size: 40 participants
Details:
The Seminar on Recognition of Non-Formal Learning and Youth Work will involve about 40 participants who can share their experiences on the topic.
Objectives of the Seminar:
The aim purpose of the Seminar is to improve the awareness of participants about the great value of their job as Youth Worker and local administrator active in the youth field. The Seminar aims at stimulating the debate on Recognition, on the visibility of Youth Work, sharing the knowledge and the experiences of participants.
Contents of the Seminar:
• Presentation of the current European Union political developments around recognition of Non-Formal Learning;
• Meaning of Recognition in different countries and at different levels: individual, social, political and formal;
• The Youth workers competences and the visibility of Youth Work;
• Tools of Recognition;
• Sharing experiences on the topic of Recognition among Youth Workers and different stakeholders;
• Suggestions and recommendations.
Methods:
• plenary sessions;
• sharing experiences in small groups;
• working groups;
• short and varied exercises;
• structured discussions.
Costs:
The Italian National Agency will cover accommodation and activity costs, the sending national Agencies will cover the travel costs of their participants. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
