Summary:
The project will equip participants to work in intercultural environments and how to use theatre arts (ex. physical theatre, image theatre etc.) in different contexts.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Unemployed artists.
For participants from: Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom.
Group size: 22 participants
Details:
Participants will benefit from the participation in the training course with the support and guidance from our creative team. INCA seeks to support the development of workshops in which the young artists can develop their own individual artistic practice. Age range: 18-35 years old
Objectives of the project:
• To promote personal artistic growth;
• To enhance sense of intercultural artistic practice;
• To offer a secure and suitable working environment for the development of new work;
• To analyse the topic of European Citizenship.
Topic/Theme of the project:
• European Citizenship: Rights, Immigration Law, Genders, Bureaucracy;
• European principles and perceptions about democracy, inclusion;
• Borders;
• Feeling European or not European (cultural, geographical, social etc.);
• What does it mean to be European?;
• Invention and convention for political and economical reasons;
• How to get citizenship in different countries;
• Diversity in terms of national citizenship / European;
• I want to get European Citizenship. How?;
• Man coming from an invented country.
Methodology & Working Methods:
The methodogical approach of the training course will be based on Non-Formal Education. The working methods will be based on Physical Theatre, Invisible and Forum Theatre, Clown.
• In the first phase participants will work on NAME GAMES and TEAM BUILDING;
• Second: Exploration of the topic;
• Third, will be involved in practical workshops (Clown and Theatre);
• Fourth will work in groups or individually to develop their skills;
• Fifth, will evaluate the process.
Planned activities:
Group dynamics, team building, simulations, workshops, working groups, presentations.
Costs:
70% of the travel costs for selected participants are covered by the project, and they will be reimbursed during the project. Participants should cover on their own the remaining 30% of travel cost. Selected participants will have to pay a participation fee of 30 euro. Costs for board, accommodation and training are fully covered by the organizers. Visa costs are 100% covered too.
