2. Experiential learning
Experiential learning will give an opportunity for participants to compare the learnt things with other realities. This approach can be realized during the evaluation and debriefing stage of the activities. Participants will participate in different activities and they will gain practical experience from those activities and reflect on them while drawing conclusions. They will also think how to apply the things learnt in other activities.
3. Participant-centred
This approach is important for the whole learning process of participants, because applying activities based on the experiences and needs of participants will facilitate the process of learning. Collecting examples from participants is essential in this kind of approach.
4. Action-oriented
Activities which participants will go through and the things learnt will develop the skills of participants which will be applied in their future activities. Participants will be able to analyze the issues of their own realities and how to apply learnt things in their realities.
5. The event will actually be based on the learning needs of participants
The participatory approach will be a part of the activity through the collecting of expectations, feedback and examples. This will make clearer for facilitators what participants know and what they want to learn in order to be able to undertake the relevant activities in their future work. Participants will share with their experiences.
